Ahzin started Ketáb in 2019 because she believes that every child has the right to pursue higher education. Since 2019, Ketab has provided students in Miami with free and affordable college application services that include FAFSA assistance, scholarship assistance, personal statement editing, and more. We have worked out of public libraries, media centers, and online to ensure that we are accessible to the students that we seek to serve.  Through our commitment to sustainability and equity, we conduct a dorm supply drive to recycle dorm supplies to our students as they embark on their first year of college. 
 

Our mission is to bridge educational disparities in Miami-Dade one student at a time. Every student has a right to higher education, economic mobility, and a quality life. This is why we help students get into college and enhance their life trajectories through higher education. Currently, we serve students individually through zoom, group workshops, and public library programs.
